Randy Scott
President

Randy Scott was born and raised in Coweta. He attended Oklahoma State University and began to pursue his business career. He has moved from Coweta 3 times (Houston, Kansas City, and Dallas), only to move back to the town he loves. Randy worked in the U.S. Beef Corporation for 18 years as a Multi State Executive Director of Operations and then went to work for Petroleum Wholesale out of Houston as a Multi State Director and inspector. Randy has been in the fireworks business for nearly 35 years. The last few years he has owned and operated Great Scott Convenience Store on Highway 51 in Coweta. Randy and his wife Kathy reside in Coweta along with their 17 year old daughter, Chelsey. Randy's oldest daughter, Randi Kay, is a teacher in Wagoner and has two wonderful sons.

I am a Coweta Native. I spent twelve years in the Coweta Public School system holding many fond memories and developing lifelong friendships. After graduation I attended Northeastern State University and received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance. I started working for State Farm Insurance Companies in 1992, the last 6 years here in Coweta as an Agent. I have enjoyed my involvement with the Chamber for several years. Plus, if you know my mother, Wilma Holmes, you know I have big shoes to fill as she is a past Chamber President.

Irene is a Broker/Associate with McGraw Realtors. She has over 20 years of experience in real estate. She and her husband Jerry have lived in Coweta 16 years. She has been on the Chamber board 10 years. She is very involved in her community. She has 2 daughters and 5 gorgeous grandchildren.

Steve Whitlock Coweta City Manager Steve Whitlock
Mr. Steve Whitlock is the current Coweta City Manager; a position he has held for approximately 15 years. He is a 1990 graduate of Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a 1992 graduate of the University of Oklahoma with a Master Degree in Public Administration. Mr. Whitlock was the first City Manager in Oklahoma to obtain the “credentialed manager” designation from the International City/County Management Association. He is the current past president of the City Manager’s Association of Oklahoma, a member of the International City/County Management Association and a member the American Society of Public Administrators, as well as, numerous other municipal and civic organizations.
Randy Craven
Randy Craven is the campus director of Indian Capital Technology Center - Muskogee. Originally from Owasso, Oklahoma, Randy attended Northeastern State University where he earned both his Bachelor's and Master's Degrees. He began his career in education as a teacher and coach for Union Public Schools. He has served as assistant principal at Ponca City High School and Union High School. In June of 2003, he accepted a position as principal of Coweta High School, a position he held for five years. He is a member of the Oklahoma Association of Secondary School Principals, Oklahoma Association of Career and Technology Education, and currently serves on the Executive Board of the Coweta Chamber of Commerce and the Wagoner County Community Sentencing Board. Randy and his wife Suzanne have two sons, Tyler and Seth, who both attend school in Coweta.

Julie Golden is a licensed Realtor with a Communications Degree from Southeastern Oklahoma State University. She is a Realtor-Associate for McGraw Realtors. She has been a realtor for 7 years in the Coweta, Wagoner County area. She was the 2009 recipient of the Ruthie Harp Volunteer of the Year Award. She is very involved in the community as well as in the PTO of HIGC, the school her daughter attends.

She has lived in the Coweta area for 9 years and believes strongly that Coweta is a striving community and the opportunities that are available here are endless. She is proud to call Coweta her home and raise her family in such a great place.

Greg Golden

Greg Golden has been an Oklahoma Farm Bureau Insurance Agent since 1996. He graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1996. He is married to Julie Golden and they have one daughter, Mackenzie. He volunteers as a head softball coach, sits on the Board of Directors for the Coweta Chamber of Commerce, and is the former Head of Finance for First United Methodist Church in Coweta.

Mr. Golden strives to provide excellent customer service to his clients. He has helped many families make their financial futures more secure and predictable. In 2007, he was named Business of the Year by the Coweta Chamber of Commerce.

Jeff graduated with honors from CHS in 1987, representing his class as Salutatorian. Following a brief stint at Oklahoma Baptist University, Jeff completed both his Bachelor's and Master's degrees at NSU. Jeff's career in education has included the positions of classroom teacher, building administrator and district administrator in both the Haskell and Coweta districts. Jeff's attention to detail and the high standards he sets for himself and for those who report to him are two reasons Coweta Public Schools continues to be a district regarded as one of the best in Oklahoma. Jeff is a member of several educational groups in Oklahoma, including the Oklahoma Schools Advisory Council (OSAC) and the Cooperative Council for Oklahoma School Administrators (CCOSA). Jeff is active in his church having served on the Finance Committee as well as teaching an adult Sunday School class. He is married to Jami, also a Coweta grad and they have three children attending Coweta Public Schools; Hayden, Hunter, and Hanna.
Dr. Jeff Ross

Dr. Ross attended Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, OK where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology in 2002. He continued his post-graduate education at Northeastern State University College of Optometry (NSUCO) where gained specialized knowledge in advanced clinical methods and ocular laser procedures. He also completed an externship at Premier Eyecare Associates in Chillicothe, Missouri and participated in many clinical rotations at NSUCO, W. W. Hastings Hospital in Tahlequah, Park View School for the Blind and clinics in Salina, Stilwell, Jay and Sallisaw.

Certified to perform laser procedures and in orthokeratology, non-surgical correction of nearsightedness, Dr. Ross has received several awards in recognition of his outstanding eye care including Excellence in Optical Dispensing and the Award for Clinical Excellence from NSUCO. He is also actively involved in several professional optometric organizations including College of Optometrists in Vision Development, American Optometric Association, American Optometric Association Political Action Committee and Oklahoma association of Optometric Physicians.

Allan Swinson
Allan Swinson is the senior minister at First Christian Church in Coweta. He represents the Coweta Ministerial Alliance on the Coweta Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. The Ministerial Alliance is a strong group of local churches from several different denominations who are united with a single passion and purpose: To be the hands of Jesus touching the people of our city and surrounding communities. The Chamber partners with the Ministerial Alliance to accomplish several things, which include promoting faith-based events and welcoming newcomers to our community.

He graduated from Dallas Christian College in 2008 with a BA in Ministry and Leadership. He is married to an amazing woman of God, named Dena, and they have two children, Kaylee (8) and Cooper (6). They are also in the process of adopting a third child! First Christian Church is his first pastorate. They were drawn to this area for many reasons. They loved the church, the location, the community, the potential for growth... Coweta has so many things going for it and for its residents! They are blessed to serve a wonderful church congregation, and to be a part of two great organizations like the Coweta Ministerial Alliance and the Coweta Chamber of Commerce!

Cheryl Taylor

Cheryl Taylor has worked for the First National Bank of Coweta for 30 years and is currently one of the Vice President's of the bank. Cheryl and her husband, Sandy, also own "The Josie House" Bed and Breakfast, which has been open for 4 years. This is Cheryl's first year to serve on the Chamber Board and she looks forward to working with and helping promote our city's businesses.

Patti Plunk

Patti Plunk and her husband Eddie have been in the construction business for 25 years. She has 3 children, Nathan, Nikolas, and Jaidyn. Patti serves on the Chamber Board of Directors and is a board member of the Coweta Education Foundation. She is a lifelong resident of Coweta. In 2004 her and her husband Eddie were named Citizens of the Year. In 2003 through collaboration with First United Methodist Church of Coweta they were coordinators of the first Coweta Vision Home.

Curtis W. Tillman D.C., D.A.C.N.B.

Dr. Tillman was born and raised in Coweta, graduating from Coweta High School in 1991. He attended Northeastern State University where he obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Health and Human Performance. Dr. Tillman attended Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, TX where he earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic Neurology Board as one of three practicing Chiropractic Neurologists in the state of Oklahoma.
Mike May
After serving 16 years in the United States Marine Corps, Mike May left to pursue a civilian career and raise his family. He has lived in Coweta and worked in the area for 10 years as a Local Manager, Telephone Services Manager and Area Manager for GTE and Valor Telecom, and is currently serving as the Local Manager for Windstream. Mike has served on the Board of Directors for Broken Arrow Neighbors, has served on the Board of Directors for the Coweta "C" Club as Secretary and is currently serving as Treasurer. He is a 2003 graduate of Leadership Broken Arrow, a 2008 graduate of Leadership Wagoner County, has been a longtime member of Civitans and is a youth coach for soccer, football, baseball and basketball. Mike is actively involved in his church serving as a Ward Missionary. Mike and his wife, Ellayna, have five sons Matt, Kyle, Marc, Major and Michael.
